STRANGER THINGS X PUMA

Stranger Things x PUMA Hoops x LaMelo Ball is a three-way collaboration built through Melo’s signature line, merging performance basketball with one of the most iconic entertainment universes of our time. For this project, I had full creative range to reinterpret the world through my own graphic lens — pushing it into a bold, illustrative space rooted in expressive line work, high-contrast color, and airbrush-inspired energy. The collection reframes LaMelo as a supernatural force within the narrative — including a reimagined version of Eleven as Melo — blending the tension of the Upside Down with the electricity of his on-court presence. From engineered prints to character-driven hero graphics, the system was built to feel immersive, collectible, and culturally charged. This is an early look at the creative direction, with the official release set to launch alongside the animated Netflix series Stranger Things: Tales From ’83 in the fall of 2026.

The Kids capsule was designed as a direct extension of Stranger Things: Tales from ’83, translating the energy of the animated series into bold, collectible Hoops product. I leaned into expressive illustration, neon contrast, and hand-drawn textures to mirror the show’s heightened, stylized tone — reimagining the Hawkins crew as the “Hoops Club” and blending basketball iconography with creatures and chaos from the Upside Down. The system balances playful and eerie, building a graphic language that feels true to the series while still grounded in PUMA Hoops culture. The result is a youth-focused collection that feels immersive, character-driven, and built for the next generation of fans.
