Building graphic worlds where sport, culture, and storytelling collide.
I’m Eli Portuhondo, a multidisciplinary designer from Lawrence, Massachusetts, working at the intersection of sport, culture, and storytelling. With 8+ years of experience across streetwear and sportswear, I specialize in building apparel graphics and visual systems that connect product, storytelling, and culture. My background spans independent creative entrepreneurship through DRYLQD Design Studio — a design and screen-printing shop I run — and global brands including PUMA, Converse, and Reebok, where I’ve contributed to projects tied to cultural franchises and athletes such as Stranger Things, Pokémon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, LaMelo Ball and Tyrese Haliburton. Running DRYLQD Design Studio has deepened my understanding of how graphics are elevated through print execution, materials, and production, giving me a hands-on foundation that informs every stage of my design process.
My work is driven by a belief that great design lives where vision meets execution. I lead with collaboration, mentorship, and a hands-on creative process that pushes teams toward clarity and higher standards. Whether developing signature athlete lines or seasonal collections, I focus on building cohesive narratives that scale across apparel, product, and brand ecosystems — blending creativity, print knowledge, and cultural insight to create work that resonates, performs, and pushes the conversation forward.
